Dear Colleagues,

The 12-th  annual Symposium - “Current topics in Pediatrics”  organized by the  Macedonian Pediatric Association and the Pediatric Clinic will be held on 15th -17th  April 2010 in the “Alexander Palace” Hotel in Skopje.
At the same time, on 14th April 2010, The 1st Balkan Conference of Pediatric Associations in the region will be held, hosted by the Macedonian Pediatric Association under the logo „Better relations between Balkan Pediatricians - time is of essence.”
This manifestation tends to become a tradition and to be held biennially in the region's capitals, and gives an opportunity to start a polemic about the role of the pediatricians in the primary, secondary and tertiary care system and achieve a consensus in pediatric health care in the Balkan's countries as well as establishing a Global Academic Platform which will bring closer the differences and specifications of children’s health care in these countries.
The content of the Consensus Framework from 1st Balkan Conference of Pediatric Associations in the region will be presented on the 12th annual Symposium - “Current topics in Pediatrics -2010”, too.
The manifestation “Current topics in Pediatrics -2010” officially starts on 15th April, with the two plenary meetings on 15th and 16th April, held by eminent specialists lecturers from the country and abroad. At the same time colleagues from primary, secondary and tertiary health care are invited to announce and present their clinical observations, case reports, and descriptions of new diagnostic methods and techniques on our organized poster sessions.
In the afternoons there will be organized many satellite symposiums and commercial presentations of many pharmacists, and our general platinum sponsor Alkaloid AD- Skopje.
